1. Acceptance

By accessing the website you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. What the service is

OSINT R. is a curated index of open-source intelligence tools, articles, and community resources. The index is provided as-is, for informational purposes.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site to break the law in your jurisdiction.
• Attempt to compromise the site, its users, or listed tools.
• Scrape the index at rates that degrade service for others (see robots.txt).
• Post content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes intellectual property.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent affiliation.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

4. Accounts

If you register:

• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
• You must be at least 16 years old.
• One person per account. No shared credentials.

5. Submissions

When you submit a tool, cheatsheet, or comment, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to publish, edit, and distribute that content as part of the site. You keep ownership of your submission and can request removal at any time.

6. Third-party tools and links

The index links to third-party tools we do not operate. We do our best to review each one, but we can't guarantee their behavior, safety, or continued availability. Use them at your own risk and in accordance with their own terms.

7. Intellectual property

The OSINT R. name, logo, and site design are ours. Article text and cheatsheets are published under the licenses stated on each page (usually CC BY 4.0 unless noted). Third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners.

8. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OSINT R. and its contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced on the site and via email to registered users at least 14 days before they take effect.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the OSINT R. operating entity. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
